The Rockaway Beach Kite Festival offers a great
combination of family fun, and great activities for children
and parents alike.
This is not a competitive event, but more of a casual family event.
You are welcome to bring your own kite, and come hungry as they usually
have many vendors selling food, like elephant ears. Your children
will enjoy this event as they learn how to make and then fly
their own kite. Great fun!
Rockaway Beach Kite Festival is held on the third full weekend of May
in downtown Rockaway Beach. To become a vendor or for more information,
