Manzanita, Oregon
Welcome to Manzanita on the beautiful Coast of Oregon.
Manzanita is a small oceanfront town in the northernmost part of Tillamook County. The town was established in 1912 and has been a popular beach resort town ever since.
There are about 1000 housing units and nearly two-thirds of those units are owned by non-residents. This is truly a resort town with a multitude of restaurants, shops, galleries, spas and more. However, the true draw of this little town is miles of quiet beaches and well-maintained public parks (check out the Nehalem State Park).
If you are looking for a scenic, relaxed beach weekend, we recommend giving Manzanita, Oregon a try!
More Information:
Manzanita is named for the Manzanita tree (Arctostaphylos Tomentosa), which grows in the area. Manzanita means "little apple" in Spanish.
