Oregon Coast Offshore Oil

It is estimated that available oil in the Pacific Ocean along the Oregon and Washington coasts amounts to 400 million barrels of oil.

At $80/barrel, that would amount to $32 billion. However, the Oregon Coast will not see any offshore drilling any time soon.

The Oregon state House bill 3613 bans offshore Oregon coast drilling until year 2020.
