The Seabird Aviary

The Seabird Aviary, one of the largest in North America, exhibits seven seabird species (tufted puffins, horned puffins, common murres, pigeon guillemots, black oystercatchers and rhinoceros auklets) and one shorebird species (black oystercatchers) native to the Oregon coast.

Two pools give the sea birds ample room to "fly" underwater, which visitors can view through underwater windows. Artificial rock faces simulate the craggy cliffs these birds inhabit while nesting and burrows allow the Seabird Aviary’s residents to pair bond and nest as they would in the wild.
